Administrator
Rachel J. is the Administrator at Westview Care Center in Britt, where she has served in her role for the past 11 years. She began her healthcare journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant while still in high school and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wartburg College. She later obtained her Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) licensure through DMACC.
Rachel is a dedicated leader with a strong commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life while supporting the staff who care for them. Her leadership style is hands-on and collaborative, centered on empowering team members, fostering open communication, and building a culture of compassion and accountability. Under her leadership, Westview has achieved multiple deficiency-free state and federal surveys and has implemented quality improvement initiatives and programs focused on person-centered care.
What motivates Rachel most is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference each day, whether supporting families through difficult decisions, mentoring staff in their professional growth, or ensuring residents are treated with dignity and purpose. She is deeply passionate about long-term care and remains committed to continuously improving outcomes for those she serves.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys camping with family and friends, spending time with her two sons, Mack and Ridge, shopping, baking, and playing volleyball and softball.
Director of Nursing
Kaycee is the Director of Nursing at Westview Care Center, where she leads with a strong commitment to patient safety, dignity, and quality care. She believes nurses perform best when they feel supported, educated, and accountable, and her leadership style emphasizes presence, clear expectations, integrity, and teamwork.
Kaycee began her healthcare journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant while in high school and later returned to nursing after starting her family. She earned her LPN license from Iowa Lakes Community College in 2017 and began her nursing career at Westview. While working full-time, she obtained her RN license in May 2025.
One of Kaycee’s greatest accomplishments is earning her nursing degree while raising two daughters. Her goal is to foster an environment where patients receive excellent care, staff feel valued and confident, and strong clinical leadership supports long-term success.
Outside of work, Kaycee enjoys gardening, baking, fishing, traveling with her family, and spending time with her daughters, Jozee and Kaylee.
