When it became clear that my brother Dan needed to move into a care center, our top priority was finding a place where he would be safe and well cared for. After doing our research, we chose Westview Care Center, and I can confidently say it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made for him.From the very beginning, I was impressed by the environment and the team. Dan has now been at Westview for several years, and I continue to be blown away by the consistency, warmth, and professionalism of the staff. Every time I visit, I’m greeted kindly—Lincoln in the office always makes time to connect—and although I don’t know all the nurses by name, I know they treat Dan with compassion and dignity. He’s happy there, and that gives our family tremendous peace of mind.Dan enjoys his meals, participates in activities like riding a stationary bike, and finds comfort in the little routines of his day—from watching TV to taking naps. He’s content, and for me, that’s everything. My sister Linda had been in and out of the hospital several times over the past year due to declining health, and Westview had provided her with skilled care during those stays. I stayed by her side while other family members arrived, and several of us spent the night in her room. Even when hospice wasn’t able to get a critical order in time, the Westview team stepped up immediately to make sure she passed peacefully.What stood out to me the most was that their compassion comes from the top down. This isn’t just a job for them—they truly get to know their residents. They knew Linda’s likes and needs and were always responsive to our concerns.
